About my services

 

As a doula I have experience in supporting a wide range of births. I continually educate myself on the most up to date comfort measures, methods and current practices of birth support. I am fully skilled to support your birth in your way. I specialize in a few areas that have become important to families in our community such as birthing naturally, supporting the bond so essential to you and your baby upon birth and the days to come, sharing the knowledge and experience I've gained while working amongst care provider's in our community, and I enjoy sharing how your partner is your best support and offering tools and guidance for them to fullfill that roll. 

 

You may be on your way to having a beautiful baby and just don't know what your options are, not sure where to have your baby and need information, maybe you would love to learn about how you can make this experience better or different than your last one, or you're a very experienced mama and loved your doula support. I can support you in making the best decisions for your family. 

 

Relational support is so important to me. Over our time together we build a trusting relationship, during a most influential, intimate and exciting time in your life. I have utmost respect for my doula families as I share in their birthing experience.

 

 

What do my services include?

 

Let's meet! 

I would love to get to know you and for you to get to know me. I offer a free consult, and I would love to hear all about you, your plans, and answer any questions you may have about services. 

 

-Prenatal Visits-

During these visits we will cover various topics of information to help you in choosing the best options in birth and care for you. Birth Plan preparation, the logisitics of labor and delivery, what it looks like to birth at each of your options in the community, managing early labor, postpartum preparedness, learning on topics that interest or concern you.

 

-Access to your doula-

You may contact me at any time via phone, text, email. Though I do not give medical advice or replace your care provider at any time during your experience, I am more than happy to offer information, guidance, and emotional support.

At 38 weeks gestation I am on call for you 24/7 up until the time of your birth. 

 

-Labor Support-

You will have full labor support. I arrive at your location upon your call. Allow for up to 2 hours for my arrival. I remain with you through labor, birth and up to 2 hours after the birth of your baby.

 

-Postpartum Support-

Upon the birth of your baby I am available via phone, text, and email to offer expertise in mother care, breastfeeding & baby care. My services also include a postpartum visit within the first 2-4 weeks. 

 

 

 

My services vary per family as not one family has the same needs as another.
